For this Electronic / Electro-Mechanical Assembly Team Leader position you will need to have experience of supervising assembly teams and being the initially daily point of contact for the staff. Your background of training new staff, liaising with internal departments, performing appraisals and organise work schedules.
Your background in electronics assembly or testing products is vital for this company, the solid understanding of soldering techniques or the use of electronics test equipment will be utilised to aid in training new staff members and it goes without saying that you are able to read/worked from Circuit/schematic Drawings.
If you have used MRP's (ideally SAP) throughout your career would be highly advantageous for this role as it will enable you to fully maximise the efficiency of your department.

If you have experience of working in a Lean Manufacturing environment and have knowledge of 5S Methodologies and Six Sigma would be greatly advantageous for this role.

This contract role you will mean you can get in quickly and start making the role your early on, this position is an ongoing contract and we are able to consider both PAYE and Ltd options. The standard hour of 07:30am to 16:30pm Monday to Thursday and a 15:00pm finish on a Friday and will be weekly pay. The position is looking to pay circa £13.50 ph PAYE but there could be some flexibility depending on experience and if you are looking to work through an umbrella company/your own Ltd company.
