Engine Technician - Aviation
The Engineering division of FPR Group are recruiting for Aviation Engine Technicians to repair, overhaul and refurbish engines and/or components for aircraft. This is great company to work who offer excellent training and career prospects for your future.
You would be working for a local, established company who are recruiting new team members due to increased workload and to help with their plans for the future with regards to succession planning.
Salary is up to £25000 / £26000 per annum for experienced candidates plus there is overtime available at time and a half, they have a contributory pension scheme and also operate flexible working hours! You could buy shares one you have worked there for a while and eat in a heavily discounted canteen (definitely seen a few bacon/egg sandwiches of a Friday morning!).
Should you apply?
You will need have completed a mechanical engineering apprenticeship, ideally within Aerospace or Aviation but other mechanical disciplines will be considered. This suits people with strong attention to detail and a natural tendency to work to high standards.
People with experience of assembling and/or repair of aircraft engines would be ideal, but we may consider people with similar experience providing you have enough knowledge to transfer your skills and have experience disassembly, repair/reworking, reassembly and testing of engines and working to strict standards.
Most of all we are looking for people with good work ethics, enthusiastic attitudes to learning and a passion for engineering. You will be working with and mentored by experienced Engineers who are well respected within the company and given excellent training.
