Engine Tester - Aviation
The Engineering division of FPR Group are recruiting for an Aviation Engine Tester to repair, overhaul and refurbish engines and/or components for aircraft.
You would be working for a local, established company who are recruiting new team members due to increased workload and to help with their plans for the future with regards to succession planning.
Salary is up to £25000 / £26000 per annum for experienced candidates plus there is overtime available at time and a half, they have a contributory pension scheme and also operate flexible working hours!
Should you apply?
This would suit someone who has an apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline with strong attention to detail and a natural tendency to work to standards.
The role will be working within the Aviation industry but they will consider people from outside the industry providing they have closely related experience.
People with experience of assembling and/or repair aircraft engines would be ideal, as well as any testing but we may consider people with similar experience providing you have enough knowledge to transfer your skills and have experience disassembly, repair/reworking, reassembly and testing of products working to strict standards. You will be preparing and testing engines / components and carrying out fault finding and repairs, rebuilding then re-testing (completing relevant paperwork at all stages).
Most of all we are looking for people with good work ethics, enthusiastic attitudes to learning and a passion for engineering.
Please call Tracy De Pass or Neil Williams to discuss the role in more detail or apply for the role by sending us your CV or clicking apply.
FPR Group are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
