Job Description
Engineering Technician
As an Engineering Technician, you will join a friendly Aerospace company within the testing department.
Working within a small team you will operate test rigs to ensure manufactured parts are up to standard and ready for takeoff!
Each day you will be testing hydraulic components against aerospace specifications.
Specifications vary between parts therefore setting various tests up on the test rigs, such as different PSIs when conducting pressure tests, will play a massive part in your daily duties.
You will have transferable skills to suit this job if you have a background in machine operation, testing and quality.
After the testing is complete you will then document your findings and proceed by handing over the now-tested hydraulic parts to the quality department. As a tester you will have exposure to various hydraulic fluids such as Skydrol therefore you will be following strict health and safety regulations.
Working as an Engineering Technician within the testing department you will be working Monday - Thursday 06:30 - 15:00 and 06:00-12:00 on a Friday meaning you can jet set off into your weekend early! Flexi-time is also available.
The hourly rate is £13.16ph.
