Estimator - Service/Maintenance
Due to growth, the Service/Maintenance side of the business is looking for an Estimator to join their friendly, busy team to produce quotations and issuing appropriate paperwork from area manager and service engineer.
The salary for this role is circa £27'000 per annum and will be based in Petersfield, there is onsite parking and a great pension scheme plus 25 days holiday (plus B/H). This is an open plan office working for an established brand.
They mostly offer planned preventative maintenance programmes and repair services so you would be dealing with a wide variety of people from Sales Managers to Service Engineers and sub-contractors. This is a highly administrative led role with a lot of customer liaison.
You will need to have worked for a company who operate within a Technical, Manufacturing, Engineering, Facilities or Construction led background - other industries will be considered if we can demonstrate where you might have had exposure to working with service engineers/installation teams etc. or dealt with people in the construction industry to produce quotations.
The pre-order team consists of 4 people with varying levels of experience, they are looking for someone who has the potential to grow, someone who is keen to learn and is self-motivated/enthusiastic. They will provide specific training on their software and products/services.
You will be working to performance targets/KPI's to get quotations and associated paperwork/certificates out on time, sourcing parts and costs. Your role will also be keeping BAAN records updated, dealing with client enquiries and issuing quotations for spare parts etc.
The skills required to carry out the role effectively include proven organisational skills, a confident communicator with experience working with engineers and customer service. You will need to show evidence of strong excel / IT skills and high levels of attention to detail, happy working under pressure and to deadlines. You will need to have worked within a similar environment, HVAC/building services or mechanical engineering would be ideal but anything related to construction or dealing with field / service engineers would be perfect. You will need some experience of estimating or similar, with experience processing orders and dealing with technical customer enquiries.
