Are you a Facilities Manager looking to step up to a large site? Do you like everything running smoothly?

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager to ensure problem-free and safe facilities for a well-established electronics company in Swindon.

What will I be doing?

As the main person in the area, you are responsible for preserving the condition of infrastructure and ensuring facilities are safe and well-functioning. Your previous experience of developing and maintaining budgets, reviewing utilities consumption and striving to minimise costs will all come in useful. Of course, there will always be out of the ordinary expenditures, so your ability to plan ahead and preempt these will be valuable. As the leader of the area, your strong leadership skills are a must to get your team behind reviews and plans in place to meet objectives. To help be as effective as you can, carrying out a series of audits will help to ensure quality control and health and safety compliance, as well as attend safety meetings.

What do I need?

You will need a strong background within either electrical, mechanical, or HVAC engineering. As mentioned, your strong leadership qualities will help you greatly and you will need proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a relevant position. You will need to be skilled in financial principles and you will need to hold an IOSH or NEBOSH.

This position offers a salary of up to £65,000 with a range of great benefits including 25 days holiday, and an almost unheard-of pension contribution of up to 10%!
