We are assisting a company who pride themselves on being a helping hand to customers to find a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.
You will be reporting to the Transactional Team Manager, providing a vital role in processing receipts and other transactions associated with customer loan balances, in an accurate a timely manner.
What will you be doing?
You will use in-house systems to provide customer-facing departments with reporting, ensuring they are all up to date and correct. You will be responsible for efficiently processing customer settlement figures and closure advise notes from recoveries. You will assist with client account bank reconciliation and clear temporary receipt postings to appropriate customer loans.
The role involves taking part in monthly funders reporting packs and working collaboratively with your colleague to achieve tasks and develop your knowledge of systems and processes.
What will we need from you?
You will need to have worked within Financial Services and be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate on all levels of the business. You must be confident in using computer systems including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
You must be confident in managing deadlines and producing accurate, detailed work unsupervised on a daily basis.
The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. The salary is £17,000 - £18,000 depending on experience. You could also achieve a 20% annual bonus!
