We have a permanent role within the Climate Control Division of a large manufacturer in the Petersfield area.

The company is looking for a motivated Building Services Engineer to join their team to contribute to the development of solutions which provide the optimum working environment for their clients; focusing on not only temperature, dust, condensation and steam control but ultimately delivering a comfortable and healthy environment through their climate control solutions.
And the role?
The main purpose of the role is to support the technical sales team in the design of HVAC systems through use of design calculations, building simulations, production of detailed drawings of system design, an understanding of best practice design codes, guidance notes and legislations. This role will be very customer interactive through both phone, email and also the participation in Client presentations, design meetings and site visits.
It is an exciting opportunity to learn from the best, working closely with the Engineering Manager, and with huge potential to expand your skill set in a modern thinking company within the building services sector.
The starting salary for this role is circa £25,000 per annum, plus benefits which include free parking, a pension scheme, career progression and also flexi-time!
Who are they looking for?
The ideal person will have a degree in Building Services Engineering with 1 or 2 years' experience in a building services design office or consultancy; we would consider recent Graduates in addition to those with 1 or 2 years' experience.
Essentially, we are looking for someone who has experience in the following:
- Ability to be able to interpret architectural, mechanical & electrical drawing
- Design of ductwork, fan selection, pressure drop calculations
- Energy efficient system design
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
In terms of the kind of person we are looking for, you should have a great eye for details with high standards, strong organization and prioritization skills and be excellent verbal and written communication.
