Graduate Engineer - Mechanical
£23000 - £25000/annum

Joining as a Graduate Engineer, you would be working at their manufacturing facility in New Milton where they design and manufacture products/solutions for the Food and Beverage industry, Chemical processing, Micro-electronics, medical/pharm, and printing.
On joining their dynamic and experienced Engineering team, you will spend time in various areas of Engineering within the business, possibly travelling to their other site in Hampshire. You will have an amazing opportunity to learn other aspects of the business, ending up in their Engineering department and starting your career in Engineering, well supported but encouraged to fully participate in the business and take ownership of small projects, reporting into the Operations Manager.
Areas of the business you may work in include:
- Sales/Business Development
- Customer Services
- Supply Chain
- Production Planning/Engineering
- Continuous Improvement
As part of your role you would be adding support to the company as required, being exposed to various parts of the business, taking responsibility for some work projects, investigating issues/problems, offering solutions/corrective actions, communicating with customers and internal departments.

Should you apply?
This is a Graduate position as such, to apply you will need to hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ideally 2:1 or above) having graduated last year (2017) or this year. Although work experience isn't essential, it would certainly be an advantage.
This would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and would love to work in a varied, high end production facility, confident speaking to team members and other departments with advanced communication skills.
You will need to be the sort of person who shows initiative and a strong problem-solving ethos, high energy and drive with a passion for Engineering.
A team player who is keen to learn and absorb new skills.
