Job Description

Are you a very experienced and competent finance professional? Are you looking for a 12-month fixed term contract that would see you joining a fresh produce manufacturer as a Finance Manager of the group? If so, this role could be for you!

This Group Finance Manager role is for a fresh produce manufacturer based in Chichester. The role is offering standard office working hours, and also the opportunity to be hybrid with up to two days at home. The role is also paying up to £65,000. The role is in place to cover maternity leave so is a 12-month fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all accounting matters of the group. This includes accurate, organised and scheduled production of management accounts, budgets and forecasts. Balance sheets will be reconciled and cost variance analysed and reviewed. They will also be responsible for payroll and employee related finance information. The successful candidate will also have to adhere to tax payments and returns. The group debt and compliance with financial limits will also be managed by this individual. The successful candidate will also be responsible for financial audits, ad hoc accounting tasks and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. As a manager, they will also be required to support and train the team as well as offer support to senior management.

The company and role also offers 33 days holiday including bank holidays, access to the bonus scheme (10%), discount site, enrolment in to the People Pension and free on site parking.

You will need:

  • To be ACA/ACCA qualified
  • To have at least 3 years post qualification experience
  • To have experience with allocating budgets and creating cashflow forecasting
  • Knowledge of IFRS and VAT legislation and procedures
  • Experience managing and leading a team
  • Knowledge of treasury procedures and policies
  • Experience with risk mitigation
  • Experience with managing payroll
  • A keen eye to detail
  • Great organisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • To be comfortable working in fast paced and high pressure environments
