A FTSE listed advanced manufacturer based in Fareham Hampshire seek a successful and experienced Operations Manager to continue to lead there charge in becoming a globally recognised manufacturer for the aerospace industry.
Paying up to £75000, car, bonus and decent benefits, this rare and enticing operations leading role is offering the chance to not only advance the sites operations but also your own career in terms of progression up the ladder.
Having recently recruited in continuous improvement and strategic areas for the site, this is an opportunity to build upon their year on year growth by continuing to improve their OTD, quality and continuing to advance their efficiency and capacity.
Leading 6 direct reports, indirectly overseeing circa 250 employees and reporting into the GM, you'll lead the sites core functions such as project engineering, production, supply chain, H&S, Sales and quality. They design and manufacturing complex mechanical assemblies. As Operations manager you'll be accountable for on time delivery and high quality performance, continuously improving and addressing any areas for future growth!
What do I need?
- Proven success and experience at Operations Management level.
- Leading experience within a mechanical batch production environment.
- Vision, strategy and intelligence.
- Ideally holding a form of mechanical engineering, i.e degree, HND or HNC.
- Hugely driven and resilient.
- Able to work well with data.
