As a result of significant business growth, this new role of Health and Safety Assistant is responsible for providing support to the H&S Manager, maintaining and updating the relevant documentation, assisting with undertaking the necessary assessments in partnership with the H&S Manager ensuring a safe working environment for all. This is a pivotal position within our organisation, that requires high attention to detail with a through and methodical approach to role.
The package:
Monday- Friday working 39 hours per week onsite a busy manufacturing company. Paying upto £30,000pa. 25 days holiday plus BH, Pension contribution and much more.
What do you need?
- A high level of computer literacy, particularly with MS Office and is able to communicate across all business layer by multiple mediums
- An understanding of the day-to-day stables of such a role
- The confidence to delivery Health and Safety inductions and updates
- IOSH experience, through an IOSH certificate and/or previous working experience
