Job Description
We're recruiting for a Health and Safety professional who has gained experience within a manufacturing or warehousing environment to join a globally recognised and exciting business based in Chelmsford Essex.

This company are just 1 of 4 companies in the world who manufacture and distribute these products, they have 50% of the global market supplying predominantly across Asia. Their turnover increased during covid as maintenance activities on their products was prioritised, the company are highly profitable and continue to grow!
This is a newly created position, as their Health and Safety Practitioner you will be responsible for there QHSE management systems, supplier and contractor approvals and always thinking about greener solutions for the site. This means overseeing health and safety across their manufacturing workshops, testing areas and also incorporating the car park where heavy goods and loads are transported to and from.
There is a dedicated QHSE manager that this role will report into and you'd work closely with other relating department managers.
What do I need?
- NEBOSH
- H&S experience within manufacturing/warehousing or similar
- Excellent people skills with strong communication skills
- An ability and desire to challenge the norm, question and question again.
- Driving licence required
- Ideally holding other H&S qualifications
