Job Description

HR Assistant - 6 month contract

We are currently recruiting for a HR Assistant to join an impressive and growing national based organisation. This role is to be based in Redhill where you will be working alongside the HR Director in a challenging, varied and rewarding environment. This role will initially start as a 6 month contract but has a potential to go permanent for the right person.

What you will be doing? -

You will be providing full administrative support within the HR Department. You will coordinate and assist in the administration of the recruitment process for all members of staff, including vetting, documentation, agency communication and mandatory checks for new starters. You will assist with inductions, training, appraisals, tools, equipment and health & safety documentation. As well as completing documentation for offers of employment, staff handbooks and HR policies. Personnel files will need to be kept up to date and communication with payroll will need to happen daily. You will need to type up general correspondence to staff and deal with any general enquiries. Other administration duties will need to be completed where necessary including stationary and printing requirements.

What they want from you! -

The company are looking for someone who has experience within a HR role as either an Administrator, Assistant or Advisor. They want someone who is motivated and always has a smile on their face. You will need to be approachable to staff as sometimes discussions of a difficult nature will need to be carried out. You must have excellent organisational and time management skills as the role can be quite fast paced. Discretion is paramount within this role so you will need to be able to keep things confidential. You will be dealing with Company Director matters as well as having knowledge of employees personal affairs.

A driving license would be ideal but if you do not have one please still apply!
