Job Description

Insurance Sales Agent

Want to join our well-established client in their non-advised sales team?! Join a leading life insurance broker based in the centre of Chichester. More and more customers are choosing to buy life insurance via the Internet and over the phone, therefore they are looking for hard working, enthusiastic, reliable and confident individuals to join the up and running helpdesk. Your role would involve completing applications by following scripts to discuss a client's needs, explaining products, running various quotes and collecting medical and lifestyle information.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in the financial services is desirable, although not essential
  • Proven experience in a sales/customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding negotiating skills, with the ability to persuade and resolve issues
  • Ability to learn about the Company's products and services, and describe and explain them.

Hours and Holidays:

Full time; 37.5 hours per week.

The preferred working pattern is:

Week 1

Mon to Thurs 9.30am - 7pm and Fri 9.30am - 1pm

Week 2

Mon to Thurs 10.30am - 8pm and Fri 9.30am - 1pm

The company provide a generous holiday entitlement (up to 30 days plus all the bank holidays)

Salary: £20,000 basic (plus bonus)
