IT Assistant - early finish on Fridays

This role is a brand-new role within the company so is an excellent opportunity to join.
What will you be doing?
You will be troubleshooting any issues that are reported by all staff members, following the case through to completion. You will help with issues such as virus/malware detection and removal, network scanning/printers, network connectivity, and hardware/software installation.
You will be occasionally travelling to another site near Southampton, Hampshire.
What do we want from you?
We want someone with the ability to adapt to issues on the fly, and great communication skills. Experience providing technical or IT helpdesk support is preferable, while an educational background in the field, along with the knowledge to solve problems, is necessary. Office 365 administration skills are essential, particularly use of Active Directory. An understanding of operating systems, application functionality, and communication protocols are required, along with technical knowledge of hardware such as laptops, PCs, and phones.
Experience in network troubleshooting, along with TCP/IP, WAN, and LAN troubleshooting would be desirable.
What are the benefits?
The company are offering a salary of £20,000 to £25,000, depending on experience, along with a workplace pension scheme, 25 days annual leave (along with bank holidays), and free parking on-site.
Please note - there may be occasional need for out-of-hours working, with usual hours being 8-4:30 Mon to Thurs, 8-12:30 Fri.
