Job Description

We are recruiting for an IT Manager to join a newly acquired company near to Fareham, paying up to £50,000 per year.

Fundamentally you will oversee hardware and software infrastructure projects as the sites headcount continues to rise and they look to enhance their current systems.

This company are based just south of Fareham and have a head count close to 100. The working hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday and although it is visioned that this IT Manager will be mostly working on site, they could be open to someone working from home if feasible on occasions.

This role is a newly created position due to growth, heading up a team of 2 already within IT on site.

They do have another site 2.5hours away, as the site continues to grow there maybe occasions where you are able to travel to this site and look to advance their systems too. Furthermore as the role grows over the coming years there might be other sites in time that could fall under your emit.

What do I need?

• Microsoft operating systems and server support
• Firewall, routers and switches understanding
• An understanding of Cyber security prevention
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory
• Good communications skills to liaise with IT suppliers
