Junior Project Manager
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager who has had some experience in the construction/architectural industries. Coming in to implement and oversee projects in our Structural and Architectural department, we are looking for someone to lead projects by supporting with the implementation and review of contracts, monitoring all budgets and costs, maximise efficiency within the projects and budget and much more. Within these industries, their speciality is steelwork projects.
What will I be doing?
This is a standalone role where you will be liaising with clients and all internal departments such as estimators, surveyors and designers. Across the structural and architectural department, you will be expected to be able to run and implement contracts, attending pre-start up meetings, maintain and improve new and existing client relationships, work within close timescales and budgets. You must ensure all departments are constantly aware of the status of the project and be able to report progress and update reports to the director.
The Package: paying a basic salary of up to £40,000pa based on previous experience. Company pension scheme, life assurance policy, choices scheme, staff discounts, health cash plan and much more. You will be entitled to 20 days annual holiday + bank holidays.
What do you need?
- Previous Project Management experience. (1-2 years minimum).
- A strong attitude and willingness to get things done.
- Past experience in construction/architectural works is wanted.
- Experience with Tekla system is preferred. AutoCAD or Revit is the minimum.
- Strong leadership qualities to organise others and become a point of contact.
- Experience in monitoring budgets and profit.
- Experience in steel/steelwork is desired.
