Job Description

We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager for a large Aerospace company in Fareham.

They will be responsible for managing one our clients' largest accounts, acting as the point of contact on all operational objectives between them and our client.

The company designs and manufactures aviation parts for both civil and defence industries; a global organisation, who work with companies all over the world.

As the Key Account Manager, you will deliver complete satisfaction by ensuring the client's expectations are anticipated, understood and met whilst developing business and enhancing profitability on the account.

What will you be doing?

This is role will give you variety; you'll be in charge of carrying out all commercial and contractual negotiations between the company and the client, strengthening the relationship and building customer loyalty. The account you'll be responsible for are a global client, and you'll be looking after client's local business both Onshore and Offshore within the UK. There is a travel aspect to this role, where you will regularly be travelling to meet your clients, both nationally and also internationally and mainly in Europe.

You will also build relationships with other aircraft manufacturers, developing the business, planning formalising and co-coordinating meetings with operational teams and top management, achieving and increasing turnover, in addition to managing all customer visits to meet objectives You'll monitor global performance across the account's entities, establish internal and external performance reviewing, driving continuous improvement.

In addition to providing operational and managerial support to the Customer Service Managers, the successful applicant will also take on this role for the account; responsible for managing 3 other CSMs to achieve the goals of the company and their client's needs. In doing this you will carry out recruitment, training, coaching and personal development reviews as required, identifying and improving process followed by delivering.
