Our client located in Southampton are looking for a Lab Technician to join the team. We're looking for a keen, motivated and focused individual to join the team. What will I be doing?
You will be working in a busy Laboratory environment where you will be working on Process Safety Projects ensuring all relevant testing, problem solving and equipment maintenance is completed. You will be further supporting the Lab with alternative duties, training, support Juniors and assistance in general management of workload. You will be completing audits and dealing with Clients in ensuring they're stayed in the loop on Project Progression.

What do I need?

• Science related degree. (Preferably Chemistry or Chemical Engineering).
• Understanding of lab methodologies, practises, quantities and reactions of mixing chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Working to Health & Safety legislations, policies and procedures. Understanding of COSHH wanted.
• To complete mathematical and scientific calculations.

• An adaptive attitude and mindset. Willingness to get the job done.
• A positive outlook to learn, develop and grow within.

The Package: This role is paying up to £25.6k p/a. Additional benefits include: 25 Days annual leave, Buy/Sell holiday scheme, Life Assurance, Pension Scheme (Up to 10%), Internal training/Development and much more…
