Job Description

Are you an experienced Support Worker who has experience in supporting people with learning disabilities, a wide range of mental health issues including acquired brain injury?

We are a person-centred agency who really cares about its employees and clients. Due to high demand we are looking to recruit 1-2 Candidates to work day shifts for 36 hours per week between them or in rotation. We are also looking for 1-2 Candidates to work night shifts for 36 hours per week. Both positions will be on an ongoing temporary Contract basis.

Our Client is a warm, friendly unit that has a dedicated team who support these vulnerable adults to move towards living as independently as possible within the community. Continuity in the staff who will be supporting them is vital. You will be working as part of a team in a 16-bed unique unit just outside of Fareham in Hampshire. You will ideally be patient, kind, empathetic with a cheerful demeanour and be able to multi-task and think quickly. Candidates will also need to possess excellent de-escalation skills and management of behaviours that challenge.
