Do you have experience within production or manufacturing and looking to develop your career further? If so, please check out this brand-new machine operator role in which full training is provided.

You will join a world-leader contact lens manufacturing company in Southampton, near the airport on Mount Park industrial estate. The company are renowned for its good treatment of staff and provides excellent career progression. With multiple sites across Hampshire, you will join the distribution team operating packing machines for their products.

If you have experience with machine operation and working within a production environment then the training provided will come naturally to you, however, should you only have little experience and are willing to learn then full training is provided.

Duties include:

• Machine operation
• Use of computer systems
• Picking and Packing
• Quality checks
• Shipping
• Heavy lifting

You will join a small team therefore your team player spirit and communication skills will help you settle in as a machine operator.

Your working week will be Monday - Friday on a double day shift pattern, week A 06:00-14:00 and week B 14:00-22:00. Hourly rate is £11.72 whilst working Monday - Friday. £17.58 on a Saturday and £23.44 on a Sunday.
