Machine Operator

Tell me more:
We have a new position which has come on the market for a Machine Operator in a rapidly moving sheet metal fabrication company supporting the HVAC industry. This position is mainly to operate a standalone inserting/pressing machine where you will be expected to thread materials into large pieces of sheet metal. This sheet metal is later used to produce units in the HVAC industry.

The package:
This role is paying between £11-£12 depending on experience. You will be entitled to 25 days holiday + the bank holidays, company pension scheme and overtime when available.

What do you need?

• Machine Operating experience. Preferably from a Sheet Metal background.
• Stud Welding experience is desired.
• Any form of production experience is a bonus.
• The ability to work on your own, be self-efficient as this is a standalone machine.
• A keen attitude and able to source work / support others when required.
• Experience with carrying heavy materials and inserting these into machinery.

This role would see you mostly working on your own on a new Haeger inserting machine. The main function you would be completing is to be threading parts into the sheet metal. When you're not operating this machine, you will be expected to support other parts of the shop floor such as the Paint Line.
