Machine Operator - Night Shift

Do you have basic machine operating skills and looking to develop your career further? Do you prefer to work a night shift? If so then take a look at this fantastic opportunity!

You will be joining a world leader contact lens manufacturing company located in Southampton, near the airport. The company are renowned for its good treatment of staff and provides excellent career progression. With multiple sites across Hampshire, you will be joining the distribution team operating packing machines for their products.

If you have experience with machine operation and working within a production environment then the training provided will come naturally to you, however should you only have little experience and are willing to learn then full training is provided.

Duties include:

• Machine operation
• Use of computer systems
• Quality checks
• Heavy lifting

You will join a small team therefore your team player spirit and communication skills will help you settle in as a machine operator.

Your working week in 2023 will be Sunday - Thursday 22:00-06:00 at an hourly rate of £13.76.

Please note in January 2024 your working hours will change to a shift pattern of 4 nights on, 4 nights off 19:00-07:00 at an hourly rate of £14.78.
