Machine Operator/Assembler

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for machine operative assemblers in a temporary to permanent role after a qualifying period with good rates of pay for a well-established and fast-growing manufacturing company that have secured new contracts with aerospace and military firms.

Your role will require you to do prep work, cutting and stripping wires to size, shrinking down labels to wires using heat guns and other various hand tools to carry out your role. Candidates are required to be computer literate, as using computer systems will be part of your daily tasks. We are looking for candidates with previous factory experience and individuals who are keen to progress overtime as the opportunity to do so is there.

The environment is very friendly and has a team-built atmosphere. Excellent facilities with break room, lockers, outside area to sit in bright new modern building with free Tea, coffee and drinks provided.

Your training will be comprehensive due to the nature of the work, you will be buddy up with an experienced person until you are confident to carry out the work yourself. There are visual aids to work to and SOP guidance so you have all the tools to do the job. Also, when completed your temporary to permanent training you will be certificated your IP60 training.

The hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and on a Friday 1pm finish so longer weekend.

Salary range will be from £10.42 per hour depending on experience, paid weekly and overtime available when required.
