Job Description

We are looking for industrious machinists (setter/operators) to join us in a great opportunity for a big player in Havant engineering. This role has real long-term scope and will see you using a variety of machines, so could be a golden opportunity! If you have experience in machine operating and metal work, keep scrolling!

The Role

We are looking for machinists to join us in Havant in a role which will see you setting and operating various machines (benders, vertical machining centres etc) to create parts which are used in the marine industry. Many of these parts are shipped all over the world, making it a very interesting role! Using steel and aluminium, your task will be to work from mechanical drawings to set and operate different machines. If you have setting and operating experience on any engineering machine (Routers, Grinders, Lathes, Mills etc) then this role could be for you.

Based in Havant and well known for their skill and knowledge of marine engineering, this company is a major player in Hampshire engineering. This is a great opportunity to join the family and get a well-respected name on your CV. Located across two sites, you'll be joining many other engineers in a busy and dynamic site.

The Details

This role is available on either the Double Day shift (06:00 to 14:00, then 14:00 to 22:00 the following week) or Nights (22:00 to 06:00), all of which come with uplift. It is a long-term, on-going role with real scope for advancement and development.
