Job Description

This Maintenance Technician is for a manufacturing company based in Portsmouth and is offering working hours of 8:30am to 4:30am Monday to Thursday, with an early finish of 3:30pm on a Friday. They are also paying up to £35,000 dependant on experience.

This role is working for an electrical manufacturer based in Portsmouth who are looking to add to their team. They are a fast paced and growing company who are looking to bring on a new Production Support Engineer.

The main responsibilities will be to provide to both electrical and mechanical support to both reactive and planned maintenance that occurs within the facility. You will also be required to perform root cause analysis and fault find in order to diagnose and repair issues that arise. There will also be the need to test machinery and equipment to ensure issues and faults are resolved. There is also the need for identifying future improvements as well as ensuring that PPM is managed and adhered to. This will all be whilst staying in constant and clear communication with other departments to ensure faults are resolved, improvements and designs are highlighted and to plan maintenance at suitable times.

The company also offer 25 days holiday including bank holidays, standard pension contributions, onsite canteen and free onsite parking.

You will need:

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Technician

• Experience with fault finding and root cause analysis

• Experience with PLC controls

• To be both electrically and mechanically skilled

• Excellent organizational skills

• Strong communication skills
