If you are an experienced manufacturing engineer who has previously set up a cell from scratch whilst implementing lean processes then this could be the ideal position for you. You will be joining a small friendly team of manufacturing engineers to set up a cell needed for production - the prototype is complete therefore it is just the cell needing your attention!
You will be able to pick up the process analysis quickly as product demand is high, therefore you can expect to hit the ground running immediately to start implementing your ideas and have real input. If you are someone who likes to see their ideas bought to life then this will provide you with that opportunity! You will be involved in the whole process including choosing the machines which the company will purchase to see your cell bought to life.
Carrying out PFMEA'S will play a part of your role whilst identifying any potential risks associated with the project. You will control the costs and delivery of the given project whilst ensuring time scales are adhered to. Naturally, project planning requires strong communication skills alongside keeping all documentation up to date.
Understanding engineering components within the aerospace or automotive industry will be a bonus as you will then have knowledge of the products produced on-site!
You will be working Monday - Thursday 07:30-16:00 and Friday 07:30-14:35. You will be based on-site due to the required communication between departments to ensure a smooth set up.
