Job Description

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Are you familiar with Test Environments and Electro-Hydraulic systems? If so, this role is for you!

This Manufacturing Engineer is based in Havant. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, regular office hours. This Manufacturing Engineer role is also paying up to £47,000, depending on experience. This role is full time on site.

The company are a manufacturer of digital and electrical solutions, including Electro-Hydraulic systems, which are all used for many different applications, in a variety of different industries.

The successful candidate will be participating in the development and validation of test equipment, used to calibrate and analyse the products manufactured. This means that the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing new manufacturing processes, as well as defining, measuring and presenting opportunities to improve and challenge existing approaches and processes. In this Manufacturing Engineer role, there will also be an aspect of cost analysis, identifying areas where funds can be saved or reduced. Forecasting and capital project management is also a key area for this role. Also with this role, comes the need for correct documentation, such as Bills of Materials.

The company also offers 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, on site parking, and an early finish on a Friday.

You will need:

• Understanding of Test Environments and ideally experience with Electro-Hydraulic systems

• Experience with programming languages such as C#, .NET and Python

• A Six Sigma Belt (Green and above is advantageous)

• Familiarity with AutoCAD

• To be able to read engineering drawings and draft technical reports

• Excellent communication

• Keen eye to detail
