Marketing, Events and Social Media Coordinator

Full time

Chichester - West Sussex

A local garden centre is looking for a full-time individual to come into a brand-new role. This position will include several different tasks which range from marketing, event management and being responsible for the company's social media platforms. This position is based on the outskirts of Chichester with free parking and discounts within the onsite store!

This is a 40-hour working week, Monday - Friday. 9am - 5.30pm. Please do be prepared to work weekends as this will include occasional weekend work and later hours during events.

Depending on previous experience, a completive pay rate will be offered. You will be paid on a monthly basis.

What our client is looking for:

  • Marketing or events experience or both
  • Computer literate, familiar with social media and being able to run and control social media accounts
  • Experience within event management
  • Quick learner
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Creative and passionate individual

Our client is looking to make a new role within their company. You will be expected to give creative ideas to customers to make the use of the facilities the company has to offer for different types of events. The company's onsite space lends itself to small events such as high teas, birthdays, anniversaries, wakes, wedding receptions and much more. Therefore, the individual our client is looking for ideally will need a background in events, being able to give advice to customers who want events and being creative with the space provided. You should also be able to sell the venue to customers via social media and overall marketing for the company within the local West Sussex and Hampshire area.
