Job Description

Are you looking for a Marketing position that can utilise your existing skills? We are currently looking for a Marketing Executive for a large Aerospace company in Fareham. This role will be reporting directly into the Marketing Manager and you will be responsible for assisting them in defining and enhancing the visibility and profile of the company, through publicity, events and exhibitions, online and printed mediums, brand management and reporting. You will be key in assisting the Sales Team, at all levels, in compiling sales collateral and undertaking targeted market research.

What will you be doing?

Marketing and Sales Collateral

Assisting in the compiling, writing and presentation of sales support documents including case studies, application notes, white papers, presentations, tenders and technical articles. Assisting in the design and amendment of external printed brochures, manuals and the company catalogue using Adobe InDesign software.

Events and Exhibitions

Assisting with the organisation of all the Company's events and exhibitions globally. This includes identifying trade show opportunities, booking, pre-show preparation, logistics, set-up and dismantle, event publicity, post-show support and reporting.

Market Research and Sales Support

Undertake Market Research projects, as defined by the Market Managers, Senior Management and the Sales Team, with the purpose of assisting in achieving an informed sales strategy. This includes identifying, analysing, interpreting and presenting information on target markets, including their needs, size and competition.

Brand Management

Work with the Marketing Manager to ensure consistent company branding on all external and internal documentation and literature, and provide brand advice to external and internal stakeholders.


Work with the Marketing Manager in the updating and ongoing development of the Group's extensive, multi-lingual website, using a bespoke content managed system. This includes the constant amendment and addition of content, which includes text, photography, literature, news and events.


Assisting with the companies external and internal publicity schedule to facilitate communication, raise the company's visibility and identify them as a thought leader. Charged with identifying, compiling, proofing and publicising various communications through a wide range of channels, liaising with the media and the company's external Public Relations company where appropriate. This publicity includes press releases, advertising (including advertorials, editorials and showcases), technical articles, white papers and case studies.


Assisting the Marketing Manager in analysing and reporting, on online and offline Marketing activities, to monitor the department's key goals and objectives. This includes online analytics, return on investment for events and monthly senior management reporting.

Essential skills required:

  • Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop (Desirable), Acrobat Professional and Content Managed Systems.
  • Creative eye.
  • Experience of working with digital and printed mediums.
  • Experience with global exhibitions. From concept development, design and organisation through to onsite support and post-show reporting.
  • Interpersonal skills, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Well organised!
