Master Scheduler - Fareham - £45,000-£50,000
A global engineering company are searching for a Master Scheduler to join their niche team on a permanent basis at their site in Segensworth, Fareham. This is a unique opportunity for a candidate who is also open and able to relocate. This company will provide financial support for the right candidate to do so.
As Master Scheduler you will be responsible for improving production processes across a busy and fast paced manufacturing environment, you will be creating and maintaining demand plans to help evaluate resources and communicating changes to procedures across the business to improve processes.
Responsibilities include; creating the sites master schedule which in time can be rolled out to other sites nationally and internationally; Translating projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule; Working with the customer base to determine weekly inbound forecast and develop consumption models to improve accuracy. Establish key performance indicators of forecast accuracy. Ensure the interaction of a firm's functional managers, and track and maintain the forecast through timely and accurate feedback.
It would be advantageous for the candidate to; Hold a formal qualification such as Degree, HND, HNC in Engineering/ Manufacturing or a closely related subject; Experience working within a Production Planning / Material Scheduling role (ideally within a highly regulated environment such as Aerospace, Marine, Automotive, Nuclear etc). Candidates will also have experience with MRP/ SAP systems along with Proven experience with complex planning, forecasting and product life cycle programs.
This position is commutable from, Portsmouth, Southampton, Fareham, Havant, Gosport, Winchester and other surrounding areas within Hampshire.
