As a Material Planner, you'll work closely with MRP suggestions ensuring that the right material is ordered in line with shop-floor demand. You'll KIT jobs in line with bill of materials, create work orders, print drawings, complete production review whilst modifying and maintaining precise BOM information on Syspro.
This company have a busy machine workshop, they design, machine, assemble, fabricate and test before despatching these complex mechanical assemblies globally. The planning department have recently upgraded their ERP, the systems in place now are specifically geared up to optimise efficiency, this really is an excellent time to join their planning division!
What Do I Need?
- Knowledge of MRP, planning and scheduling.
- A problem solving attitude, a real desire and ethos to continually look to improve.
- Someone who will challenge current operations.
- Ideally be experienced working within an engineering/manufacturing/production environment.
