Job Description

My Client based in Waterlooville are currently recruiting for a Materials Handler to join the team on an ongoing basis with the chance of becoming a permanent employee at market-leading manufacturing company. This position requires you to work on a Double-Day Shift (6am until 2pm Week A and 2pm until 10pm Week B) rotating weekly.

The role of a Materials Handler is pivotal for my client and you would be working with experienced professionals in this sector who can assist you on a day-to-day basis.


To ensure the continuous supply of raw materials are prepared, dried and available for each injectin moulding machine following safety protocol.

To follow the 6S procedure and that all material spills, hoppers and machine beds are cleaned in a timely and effective manner, this prevents the chances of cross contamination.

To be able to prepare materials to return to the stores area with weight, item code and batch number.

To ensure thar materials are delivered to the Mouldshop punctually to mimimise downtime of production.

To provide great communication skills to the planning rwam and shift supervisors to ensure that orders issued short are reported in a timely manner.


Great communication Skills.

Good manual handling experience. (Up to 20kg)

High Levels of Attention to Detail.

The ability to follow written instructions.

The working hours for this role is rotating weekly, 6am until 2pm Week A, and 2pm until 10pm Week B Monday to Friday. This will be rotating from week to week.
