As an experienced Mechanical Assembler Team Leader you could bring your knowledge and experience to a place where it is valued but give you the opportunity to learn more.
You could be working on a variety of areas for a range of products for clients based globally meaning that you are not producing the same things over and over again.
For this Mechanical Assembly Team Leader position you will need to have experience of assembling mechanical products working on units in a range of materials including Stainless Steel & Aluminium but could include more exotic materials with sheet metals and machined components. You will of course of previously worked to from Engineering Drawings and are fully competent in the use of a wide range of hand tools and bench tools.Although this is an Assembly Team Leader position we are also looking for someone with welding knowledge and ideally experience. While this is not a welding role, the section you will be overseeing will have welded parts so this this knowledge/experience will be required.
As a Team Leader you will have clear and demonstratable expereince of supervising teams of staff and being the first port of call for daily staffing issues and management. Sickness, holiday, apprasials, grievences and identifying trainging opportunities will be part of your daily role as well as ensuring that your team is achieving the planned production of products to schedule.

If you have experience of working in a Lean Manufacturing environment and have knowledge of 5S Methodologies would be greatly advantageous but attitude and the core skills are vital.
