Job Description

Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a new challenge? If so, and the world or aerospace appeals to you where you can technically learn more and enhance your Design Engineering pedigree, then we want to speak with you now!

This role is based at a small to medium sized company with almost 200 on site and a team of 6 within Design Engineering. They have onsite manufacturing and are based in Segensworth near to Fareham, Hampshire.

They will pay a salary between £40000 and £45000 in this role. They can offer you 5 weeks holiday, 12.30pm finish on Fridays, Health Cash Plan, Contributory Pension Scheme up to 11%, free gym equipment on site, free parking and big discounts on shopping at major supermarkets such as Sainsburys/ASDA etc.

The Role:

You'll be involved in Design work, working closely with in house machining. This company design and manufacture complex mechanical products that are machined, fabricated, assembled on site, tested and then distributed across the globe. The products they make vary, the components are all machined to tight precision tolerances, are assembled and fabricated into products such as switches, valves and filtration devices.

What do I need?

• A form of relating mechanical engineering certification, relating apprenticeship, HNC, HND or degree
• At least several years into your Design Engineering career
• Good understanding of design engineering within manufacturing
• 3D CAD experience
• Great dynamic communication skills to interact well between the departments
• Current eligibility to work in the UK and commute to Segensworth readily
