Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a new and exciting position working for a globally recognised company in Salisbury keep reading for more information..

Tell me more:

You will be responsible for mechanical design and development on NPD projects. The role requires working in a team environment and especially closely with the electronic engineers to integrate electronics and mechanical assemblies in the final product. You are expected to have a broad understanding of different materials, processes, and media, preferably with a bias towards working with plastics. The role will encompass all areas of design, development and manufacturing from concept to end of life and will offer a variety of engineering challenges and scope to develop new skills and practices. You will have a pro-active mind set to suggest part cost, quality, and process improvements with a keen eye for detail.

What do you need?

• Degree in Engineering
• Experience in CAD and Solidworks
• A strong technical ability and a keen knowledge of manufacturing processes, with the necessary skills to turn concepts into products for manufacture
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Attention detail
