We seek a capable professional to become a Mechanical Engineer working as part of a multi-talented team typically working from R&D and concept, through to new product development ensuring the transition of new products into production safely and cost effectively.
They want your opinion! You will be helping with their improvement of processes and quality by utilising Six Sigma & 8D to evaluate and reduce product, people and process variation.
This company design, manufacture and sell their products that are used in applications on a global scale, it's exciting and diverse engineering!
Sounds great, so what do I need? This company pride themselves on their high quality of their work. Naturally they seek positive, enthusiasts and driven engineers to join them, character, capacity and professionalism is key. You'll need to have gained experience working closely within production/manufacturing environments. Ideally holding certification in engineering i.e a HNC, or NVQ level 4 or an apprenticeship and importantly 3D CAD modelling experience is key as you will be working closely within the design phase of new/modified products.
What else will I be accountable for? Preparation of proposals for product developments, collation of data and technical reporting. Naturally you'd recommend improvements to configuration and performance of products and systems. From here you would use your skills to budget all projects, ensuring maximum efficiency in regards to time, cost, durability and standards.
For this role the rate of pay is up to £17.50 per hour PAYE or £22.27 LTD. This will be working straight days, Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm and Friday 8.00 am to 12.00 pm. The contract is expected to last between 3 and 6 months.
