Are an experienced Mechanical Inspector or someone from an engineering shop floor back ground looking to get in to moving into the quality field? Are you looking for a new role or wanting to progress to a bigger company that can offer a new field of experience within the MoD and Nuclear/Energy? This could be the role for you.
You will be joining a company with a great working environment that has a great team spirit and value their employees, they encourage staff to continue learning and to contribute to continuous improvement activities. Your work will be inspecting completed metal products before they are delivered to customers, as well as first offs, spots and random inspections.
What are they looking for? This permanent position has become available due to company expansion and internal progression and as such are looking for candidates with experience of manual inspection using hand measuring tools. Any experience using CMMs would be highly beneficial however not essential. This role could be for you if you have a background in a mechanical manufacturing/engineering biased background or experience in precision engineering/machine shop environment.
Someone who is self-motivated with strong communication skills would be very successful in this role, as well as having excellent people skills, a diplomatic nature and able to work in a team. This role will appeal to your natural tendency for attention to detail as they work to tight tolerances.
Package. They have free onsite parking and offer a good permanent package. Depending on the level and type of experience, salary would range from mid-twenties upwards to thirty thousand. And you get a half day on Fridays!!!
