Job Description

Calling all MIG welders! Are you looking for your next opportunity? Fancy working for a leading company in the automotive industry in a long-term, on-going role? If so, read on!

The Role

We are looking for a MIG Welder to join a company in Denmead in a role where you would be welding exhaust parts and various components for the automotive trade. If you are an experienced MIG welder, with experience of working to 2mm on stainless and mild steel, then this may well be the perfect role for you.

The Company

This company has been in the automotive engineering industry since 1973, and has been specialists in vehicle parts since 1997, making them one of the largest and oldest companies of their kind. Based in Denmead, and with parking onsite, it is home to a small, skilled team of engineers and welders all driven to get the best results.

The Details

This is an excellent opportunity to secure full time hours, to develop your welding skills and work as part of a dynamic and diverse team. Working on the Double Day shifts, you would be working full-time hours in this busy machine shop, in the weld bay, fabricating department and assembly bench (this role is about 70% welding and 30% fabricating/fitting) using mechanical drawings to weld different exhaust and catalyst parts.

This is a temp to perm role, meaning after three months with FPR you would then be taken as a permanent worker (situation depending). With real longevity, plentiful over-time and a perm contract at the end, this could be a fantastic opportunity for your next role.

This role is paying £12.21 for the Doubel Day shifts.
