Night Support Worker

I am recruiting for Night Support Workers to become part of our incredible team providing care, companionship and assistance to our highly respected client base located across West & East Sussex.
We have been providing outstanding Support Workers to a range of care services for decades, our client list is actively growing which allows us to offer you a selection of services to work in! You will have the option to support Residential Children's Homes, Supported Living Services, School Clubs, Youth Centres, Residential Care Homes, Hostels and the list goes on.
Only want to work nights on weekdays? Maybe you only want an additional one or two night shifts a week? What about only working weekends and holidays? No problem! We will provide you with an excellent selection of night work available throughout the entire week, weekends and holidays ensuring you have full flexibility over your rota!
Typical duties during your night shift may include participating in the handover from day staff, ensuring the service is fully secured throughout the night, assisting service users in preparing for bed, general household tasks, recording patient observations if their care plan requires, completing regular checks on specific service users, supporting with personal care if required, updating logbooks/IT systems, providing companionship throughout the night if needed and undertaking other duties given by management.

A minimum of six months paid experience within the care sector is required to be considered for the position.
The ideal applicant will have previous experience working night shifts, however this not essential and we will be accepting individuals with a care background who are looking to begin working nights. You will be resilient, able to use your initiative, positive and reliable.
The ability to drive is not essential for this position.
