We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to work for an organisation that is expanding based in Southampton. This role will be to support the Office Manager and team of 5 to follow customer orders from beginning to end.
They are ideally looking for someone who is reliable and process driven, someone who can take control of their own workflow.
This role will include some occasional lifting of stock from the Warehouse so you need to be able to safely lift up to the legal limit.
You will require the following skills and experience:
- Experience with an MRP system (they currently use Navision)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel
- Import and Export knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- A team player with a high level of dedication and a passion for your company
- Well organised as on occasion lone work will be necessary
- Good telephone and customer service skills
Your main duties -
Your role will involve you owning the end to end process of customer orders. You will produce quotations, process, pick & pack and ship orders. This can include brand new orders or engineer services including training, repair and emergency visits. You will be responsible for invoicing customers, arranging shipments of instrument repair, orders or loan through import clearance mainly with Germany and USA as well as updating and adding new items and prices onto the inventory maintenance.
This role will include maintaining overview of stock levels, ordering new stock from manufacturing sites and keeping the Warehouse safe and tidy for Engineers. You will need to be happy to lift stock within the Warehouse for deliveries.
You will assist with stock transfers and adjustments, month end report and stock transfers and adjustments.
Other duties will include general administration, filing, greeting visitors and answering inbound calls and emails.
