Outdoor Education Teacher Assistant
My client is currently recruiting for an Outdoor Education Teacher Assistant for their School in Seaford. The School educates boys from the age of 9-16+.
The School's is located near public transport and parking is available on site. You will benefit from a competitive starting salary, work only during school hours and have weekends off!!
The School is an education provision that focuses on actively engaging and stimulating the children with their education and will lead to them in developing positive outcomes. There are systems in place and support plans to guide the children in their education needs as the children have some EBD (Emotional Behaviour Disorder) and challenging behaviours.
As an Outdoor Education Teaching Assistant, you will support the children in their learning with more exciting lessons that takes the norm away from a typical classroom setting. You will take your lead and guidance from the Head Teacher. Contributing your ideas to lesson planning will be key when looking at the curriculum.
Having the correct positive attitude to towards this role is key and will make your interactions with the children even more meaningful. Having previous experience in SEN (Special Needs Education), EBD, or being a Support Worker in Children's Residential Home will be key and put you at the forefront of the short-listing process, however, full training is provided.
