Pet Claims Assessor - Work from Home!

Part Time or Full Time

Are you looking to join a friendly, welcoming team? Do you enjoy working from the comfort of your own home? Have you got previous experience of working with animals and medication? We are currently looking for a Pet Claims Assessor to work for a large financial company who are based Portsmouth who are specialists in their field.

For this role you will need to have Vet/Vet Nurse. Medical or Pharmaceutical experience. You must have worked alongside medications and be confident in making decisions. This role involves working under pressure at times so you will need to be able to think on your feet, multi task and be good at prioritising workloads. You will need to be available for 2 weeks training in the Portsmouth office and to attend the occasional meeting.

Now for the good bit!

For this position they are happy for either full or part time as long as it is a minimum of 15 hours per week. The salary is up to £23,000 depending on the hours you work and your experience and the company have excellent benefits.

What you will be doing -

You will be responsible for answering calls from both customers, breeders and vet practices on a daily basis, ensuring you are taking accurate information regarding their insurance claim before putting onto the database. You will review incoming insurance forms and ensure the claims are correct and settles within the SLA. You will respond to email queries and be confident with medication names, maintaining high levels of customer service at all times to build rapport. You will need to be aware of and conform to legal requirements and adhere to company processes with regard to the current FCA regulations.

Most of all you will need to be a people person and have empathy for customers who are going through a tough time following an illness/passing of a pet.
