As a Design Engineer or a Senior Design Engineer within pressure vessels you will be responsible for generating Engineering Design packages in accordance with what the customer wants. You'll get involved with the design and validation of products to customer requirements, relevant design standards/codes and company procedures. You'll be involved with Vessel Calculations, quality plans, weld/NDE maps, NOBO Submission documents and technical files for reference/archive. You'll provide technical support for other internal and external functions such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Applications, Sales and customers.
What do I need?
So If I've not already emphasised that pressure vessel design experience is vital, I'll say it again, if you don't have pressure vessel design experience then you won't be considered. Along with having the pressure vessel design experience you'll naturally be familiar with associated pressure vessel design codes and guides, i.e ASME or EN13445 or PD5500 etc etc etc. This role will require great communication skills and knowledge of pressure vessels ideally in a broad range of industries.
