Our client, a $12 billion global technology leader based in Essex, are looking for a Product Development Engineer to join their company for a 6 month contract - although this may go on for longer. This is a great opportunity to work on products for a variety of sectors including; Aerospace, Subsea and Power.
This position entails of two roles. Your primary role will be to support new product design through development of embedded software for microprocessors. Your secondary role with be to support in the investigation of existing embedded software in their product range.
As a highly skilled and experienced Product Development Engineer you will have experience in Real Time embedded software, have a high level of understanding of C Programming language and have worked in a HP VEE test environment.
Along with the above you will also have experience in the use of the RX Processor family without proprietary operating systems and have an appreciation of the three-phase electrical theory and its applications and of digital circuitry.
As well as experience in Software implementations you will also have experience in the Hardware aspects of the product development.
You will work a 37 hour week, with the option of working from home. You will be required to go onsite for weekly meetings and testing of the products. Pay rate is dependent on your experience, but can range from £30 to £45 per hour LTD. The option to work PAYE is also available.
