Product Support Technician -Suffolk - Circa £30,000
A Leading Engineering organisation are searching for Product Support Technician to join their team of 3 at their site in Newmarket, Suffolk.
This is a great opportunity for a hungry engineering candidate to grow and develop their skill set within Hydraulic and Electrical Engineering. This role has elements of travel to customers sites across the UK, Mainland Europe and you might even have the chance to travel to one of their sites within Asia & Australasia as the current market is ever expanding. The role does require travel around 20 days a year and gives you that opportunity to not only travel and work but travel and explore.
As a Product Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing after sales support to customers. This includes carrying out service and/or repairs as and when required. All training is provided.
- Visiting dealers and distributors and training technicians on the equipment, machinery, installation & Service
- Reporting issues back to the engineering and service departments
- Covering on the shop floor when required
- Building client relationships by communicating well
In order to be considered for this position candidates need to have; Experience working within an engineering environment that operates electrical hydraulic machinery. Ideal industry experience would be within the Agricultural, Civil Engineering & Construction. Having experience with Heavy machinery would be advantageous.
It would be advantageous for candidates to: Hold a formal qualification such as Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, HND or similar within an engineering discipline. Ideally industry experience of around 2 years+ or a time served apprenticeship. Knowledge of Agricultural or Farming machinery.
This role is commutable from Newmarket, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Braintree, Haverhill and other surrounding areas within Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
