We are currently recruiting for a Technical Support & Sales Specialist for a rapidly expanding company in Southampton with a global presence. If you're a Graduate with hands-on experience then this role would also absolutely suit you.
Due to the nature of this role, there is a large aspect and opportunity for travel both in the role itself and the training provided so candidates will need a valid Drivers License plus the enthusiasm and willingness to travel.
What will I be doing?
As a Technical Support & Sales Specialist, you will be working closely with a dedicated Sales Person to perform on-site instrument installations, commissioning, and trainings to expertly demonstrate the products to existing and potential customers. Using your technical knowledge and lab experience, you will assist with instrument servicing and assembly as necessary, as well as perform studies for future method development by collecting support data.
These responsibilities only touch upon what you will be doing in this role; your day-to-day will certainly be full of variety.
What do I need?
A degree in Chemistry or related degree with Chemistry experience is needed. You will need hands-on experience in a laboratory with Analytical Chemistry equipment whether that's professional or through a recently completed degree. Due to the element of travel involved with the role, you will need a valid Drivers License.
This is a fantastic opportunity with a salary of £25,000 and great benefits including a very generous car allowance, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
