Production Coordinator - Maternity Cover

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a maternity contract which could potentially turn into a permanent role as a Production Coordinator in Waterlooville. The client works nationally with some of the country's largest telecoms providers with specialist areas including bespoke fabrications.

Reporting to the Programme Manager you will be responsible for supporting the team in manging administrative and material tasks related to the customers.

What you will be doing -

You will be responsible for organising all outside processes and raising purchase orders to that costs are captured. You will review and raise sales orders in conjunction with the parts lists and the program manager to ensure that the correct materials are available when needed.

On a daily basis you will request work packages from the drawing offices to ensure Fabrications and Production have the correct information to build products. Working with the purchasing team at all time to ensure that all materials are available at the correct time.

You will ensure that all Customers or Supplier returns are completed within the timescale provided and raise all delivery notes for parts and products. You will conduct analysis of surplus materials on sub-locations on completion of projects reporting the findings and request project materials from the sub stores using the correct request.

What we need from you -

You will need to have experience working within a similar environment within an Administrative role. You must be able to manage your own workloads and work independently as well as within a team. Good computer skills are essential.

Good communication skills are a must and you should be confident at speaking to a wide range of people.

Hours of work are core hours Monday - Friday. NO WEEKENDS!
