We are recruiting for a Production Engineer (NPI) to become part of a multi-talented team at a state of the art and well backed manufacturing site in New Milton, Hampshire

This role will pay from £36000 up to £40000 depending upon experience, offer autonomy backed fully by the GM and Technical Manager at a site of almost 90 employees turning over circa 10 Million a year. The site are growing and part of a highly successful global manufacturer who have recently been awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise in International Trade. What does the role involve? As an engineer with at least a few years' experience already behind you, you will be accountable for the implementation of new manufacturing processes and associated equipment needed to launch new products. You will be able to support product development and new product development and have ample interaction with operations, production, quality and all technical departments. As well as the manufacture of prototypes you'll naturally be accountable for planning, BOM's, tooling drawings, driving process improvements and have plenty of involvement with the manufacture or modification of tooling as necessary.
Sounds great, so what do I need? Ambition and drive, backed by at least a few years' experience within a similar production engineer/process/manufacturing engineering role with a good element ofNew Product Development (NPD) and /or New Production Introduction (NPI). Character and experience are key, so if you hold a relating apprenticeship, HNC or HND or degree this would be ideal. Furthermore, you will naturally have accumulated your experience within manufacturing/production and have had exposure to driving processes forwards.
